January I hope that you all had a relaxing and joyful Christmas holiday! Things are back in full swing at St. Stephen School. We are having a Texas Donut fundraiser this month. Order forms went home last week and are due back on January 24th. All funds go towards student programs in the school. We met in our Champion groups and focus on the Character trait of being “Accountable” last Friday. Students discussed this trait and then acted out a short skit for the rest of the group. On January 25 th , the whole school will be having a “Blast from the Past” spirit day. Students are encouraged to dress in bright neon colors to show their school spirit. There is no school on Friday, January 26 th as teachers are attending Professional Development in-services. St. Stephen’s elementary students from Grade 1-6 have enjoyed taking swimming lessons this month at Trico Centre. Canadian Tire Jumpstart is funding these lessons.
